- CEC functionality is dependent on CEC being activated on all HDMI connected devices. If not turned on, then that device may ignore CEC signals from other devices.
- CEC functionality is available as included by the manufacturer for each device. There is no requirement for feature completeness. Users can’t add what the (TV) manufacturer didn’t include.
