iPhone Internet Sharing by Bluetooth PAN to macOS Monterey

Hello, I updated my MacBook Pro mid-2017 to macOS Monterey 12.4 and after paring my iPhone 6S Plus (using iOS 15.5) over Bluetooth, disabled the WiFi on the MacBook and iPhone.

On the iPhone I activated the Personal Hotspot and selected share only over Bluetooth and USB.

On the MacBook I leave the option key pressed and selected the Bluetooth icon on the menu bar, my iPhone is not listed there anymore, but is paired in the systems preference > Bluetooth.

In the previous macOS, I was doing exactly the same and my iPhone was listed, to use the internet of my phone over Bluetooth, and before I just need to click on the iPhone and use the internet connection. What I'm going wrong to use the tethered internet of my iPhone over Bluetooth to my MacBook?

Hello Jay_OR,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. We understand that you're attempting to connect your MacBook to your iPhone's Personal Hotspot via Bluetooth. Right?

The Bluetooth settings on your MacBook and iPhone should be used to connect accessories such as headphones, keyboard, etc. To connect your MacBook to your iPhone's Personal Hotspot, you will use the same steps you would for a Wi-Fi connection. Check out Connect your Mac to the internet using Wi-Fi - Apple Support.

You may find If Personal Hotspot is not working on your iPhone or iPad (Wi-Fi + Cellular) - Apple Support helpful when going through that process as well.

Take care.
