I travel the same way to and from work every day and the elevation is of by 9 feet or 3 feet. In the world of advance technological devices that’s way out of whack. Plus or minus an inch I can see but not 9 feet! What is the accuracy of apple devices? It can’t be plus or minus 3 metres that completely defeats all logic.

I’ve tried recalibrating many times. I can’t believe that it’s that far off 12 feet. Even with my buddy wearing their Apple Watch and we are starting from the same point taking the same route before and after calibration we are getting totally different results steps elevation and then I talked to someone else and they are saying the same thing has never really worked properly it’s just a toy.
Unpair and repair and setup as new,not from a backup.
