Perhaps carefully read those instructions which initially enabled parental controls
then, see how to revert those back; may be one of several ways to 'undo' them.
• Use parental controls on your child's iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support
//support.apple.com/en-us/HT201304
[If one has set up Family Sharing, there may be some items to check; and see if
those could be toggled-back, to default settings; from within their latest state.]
• Leave Family Sharing - Apple Support
//support.apple.com/en-us/HT201081
• Set up parental controls with Family Sharing on iPhone - Apple Support
(another item to look into, for an escape clause; however Leaving may do ok)
Where one has also enabled a computer in addition to iDevice, those may
require a bit more effort to disengage the parental controls; but not much.
Study "Screen Time" as part of 'toggle off-on' Parental Control/Family Sharing.
• What is Screen Time on Mac? - Apple Support
I've not used these family sharing items, personally. As a fellow volunteer here
some of these are not studied much; & so that leaves a bit of exploring to do..!
