Universal control issue

I don't have universal control button in display settings at my MacBook Air M1, how to fix it?

I'm trying to pair my iPad Air 5 and nothing works

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 12.0

Verify you are current on both—


The current stable release of Monterey including bug fixes, is macOS 12.4
