Out of the memory

Hi All,

OS: 12.4 Monterey

Hardware: MBP 16 M1 Max/64G RAM/2TB SSD

The problem description:

I try to train a machine learning model using a pretty big dataset (several GBs). I use Python and sklearn lib. After a while, the system asks me to force quit the applications. If I ignore it the python kernel is crashed. Why the OS automatically do not use the virtual memory/swap file? Also, I see that python asks only for 24GB. So, 64GB should be still enough.

Is the way to increase/set up the virtual memory/swap file size?

MacBook Pro (2020 and later)
