Deleted emails are showing up in inbox again

Deleted emails are coming back or showing up in inbox again ?

Here are several solutions to this problem.

  1. Set "Delete mailbox" to "Trash" by launching Settings > Passwords & Accounts > Select your email account > Account > Advaced > Deleted Mailbox > Trash > Advanced > Account > Done
  2. Remove and add email by heading to Settings > Passwords & Accounts > Select the Email account that you want to remove > Delete Account > Delete from my iPhone. Then add your email account to your iPhone.
  3. Force Restart your device: Force restart iPhone - Apple Support
  4. Update your device to the latest version of system.
