Anyone else having issues with CarPlay again after recent update?? Amazon music. Won’t show album or artist when Waze or maps is displayed but will when using music screen. So annoyed with updates always messing up stuff!!! Happening in multiple phones and cars not just mine. 1 step forward 2 steps back APPLE STINKS

If the issue is happening to one particular app, uninstalling and reinstalling it from the iPhone may also help, in addition to these steps: If an app on your iPhone or iPad stops responding, closes unexpectedly, or won’t open

NOT SOLVED! Not an app issue! Some problem happening on wife’s CarPlay! I’ve deleted, restarted and reset both phones. Clearly an issue/bug with software! Apple is always so quick to tell
you to restart or reset phone which never does anything. Look deeper! Claim to be the superior brand but crap like this speaks for itself
No not the case. Worked before just fine and since when was displaying album name or song distracting? Clearly an iOS issue not the app! Same mthjng happened with iOS 15 update and everyone on Apple side blamed amazon music and said it wasn’t on them or the update which was totally false! Just take responsibility

Given this happens when Maps or Waze is displaying the directions or maps, we'd say this may be expected behavior. Otherwise, it would remove the map and directions to provide you with the updated songs as they pay out. Which may be distracting for the driver.
