Note that in-general, your "lost" phone must be turned-on and in a location w/ network connectivity for "finding" to function.

You can only locate your phone via Find My. If you sign in to iCloud.com and the phone is not listed in Find iPhone, most likely Find My is not turned on before you lost it.


Find My is the only way that you can track or locate a lost or missing device. There is no other Apple service that can find, track, or otherwise flag your device for you
