Transfer between devices

If I transfer my data from Macbook Pro to iMac, can I still use them both individually after it's transferred?

iMac 24″, macOS 12.2

Yes. Moving content from one Mac to another copes the content to the other Mac but does nothing to the source Mac and it can used as it has been before.
