I have run Migration many times, on both brand new and older (not new) computers and never set any of them to prevent sleeping. When the migration is occurring, e.g. examining files and copying files, the computer will not sleep. The display might sleep but not the computer. If the migration completes and then the computer sleeps, you can simply wake it up.
