All of my keychain passwords are missing today for no apparent reason. Would an update cause this? Keychain is still turned on and I made no adjustments to setting recently.

Not sure I’m in the right place. All of my saved passwords are missing. All of them
If you don’t have a passcode on your phone it won’t save passwords. Likewise if you don’t have 2 factor authentication on your Apple ID.
And if you back up your phone to your computer and don’t check Encrypt Backup passwords will not be included in the backup.
Keychain requires that you have 2 factor authentication and a screen passcode on your phone. Do you have both?
