i forgot my password and had not changed it from the factory setting… can anyone help me ? I thought it was 12345678

A Mac does not ship with any user or admin accounts set up. As part of first booting the device, users create their accounts and the password for it. So there is no factory default as the factory doesn’t ship Mac’s with pre-existing accounts.
What is the password on a new computer? I can’t remember my password and never changed it from when I bought it. I thought it was 12345678
