My iPhone was stolen last night around 10 pm and the location updated is 11:26 pm after that no new location is being updated. What could be the reasons and how can I get my phone's location.

If your iPhone was stolen, we recommend reporting it to local law enforcement.

Also, keep in mind that if the battery has died on the iPhone or if the device is offline, the information will not update.

Beware of a common phishing scam: You may get a text or email from “Apple” or “Apple Security” (or sometimes “Police”) saying your phone has been found and to click on a link to see its location. This is NEVER from Apple or from law enforcement; it is from the thief or fence to steal your Apple ID and identity. Delete any such message without responding to it. Apple never gets involved in lost or stolen devices.
The phone will stop updating its location if it is disconnected from the Internet, the battery has run down, or it is turned off.
If the phone connects again to the Internet or the battery is recharged, then you might see an updated location appear.
