iPhone 12 makes static noise when calling

Hello,

I have an annoying problem with an iPhone 12 mini(iOS 15.5). When making calls, either via the Internet or the GSM line, a static noise is heard during calls. When I give or receive a call, I hear my interlocutors, but there is also a static noise in the background. They reported that they only hear the static noise.

I tested it with some AirPods, and it works fine. I also played some music and shifted the balance from left to right and vice versa, and I noticed nothing unusual.

I've restarted it many times already, and I also restored it once, but the problem persists.

Could you please help me out? Is there something that I can do, or must I go to an authorised service?

thanks for your response. I already contacted an authorized service and apparently the microphone was the source of the problem. It must be replaced.

Sounds like you did a lot of good troubleshooting on this issue already. Make sure you followed these steps as well: If you hear no sound or distorted sound from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch speaker - Apple Support

Do you only hear this issue if you're holding the iPhone to your ear or does it happen when on speaker phone too? Do you have a case on your iPhone? If so, please remove it and try that again.
