My Apple Pencil 1 charger thingy has broken, what do I do?

Pls help my Apple Pencil charger is not working and it has split in half.

It also has lost it’s cap and lost a bit of it’s uhhh skin?

I am too scared to ask for a new one because I’ll be told I’m irresponsible and they may not give me any gadgets ever again.

Pls help me

Apple Pencil (1st gen) not charging. My Apple Pencil gets disconnected randomly and then doesn't get charged (either through a charger or through my iPad). In my last question, I asked what to do if the gold bars on the lightning charging end of my Apple Pencil were darkened. I was told that if the Pencil is still charging (which it was, at the time, although I had to try plugging it in multiple times), then it's fine. But now it isn't. I also tried forgetting the pencil on the iPad's bluetooth, and now it's not getting paired again. What's Apple's policy on this? Will I get a replacement? Or at least a free repair? Apple Pencil won’t charge I know the charger works, yet my pencil still hasn’t charged. It pairs, but it’s dead and I’m unable to use it.

Your first generation Apple Pencil is irreparably broken. Your only remedy is replacement.

If you have an active AppleCare+ plan for your iPad, of purchased with your iPad, your Pencil may be covered.
