That would be because Google Pay isn't on the App Store. Google Pay is for Android devices.

Can you pay with Google Pay from your iPhone with NFC in stores that you can with Apple Pay?

I know you can download Google Pay in the App Store. But if the intention is to use Google Pay to pay with the NFC chip in stores like with Apple Pay, then I do not think I am "wrong".
