Thanks... However. after reading these and other support articles, it is not explicitly clear that links to these shared albums expire after 30 days, even if the albums are permanent. So you'd have to keep sending new links to friends who might want to look at the shared albums months later.

It looks like the shared album may be permanent, but the public links to it expire after 30 days.
