Not receiving iMessage text notifications

Hi! I'm on the latest iOS update 15.5 and I've been encountering this weird iMessage bug where I don't get a notification when a text message comes through. Even on my Macs/iPad the issue is still present.

At first I thought I accidentally toggled a focus mode on but it's off.
