Safari Search Bar Missing

While trying to add something to my toolbar, I somehow deleted the smart search bar. How can I get it back?

Click View menu in the Safari menubar and choose "Show Toolbar".

Customize toolbars on Mac - Apple Support

To customize the toolbar, choose "Customize Toolbar".

If this doesn't help, click "Customize Toolbar"

"drag the the default set into toolbar".

Click "Done".

Thanks dominic23, I appreciate your help. I have tried these "fixes" and they didn't work. I have a "tech" son and I have sent him a message with a screen shot and I'm hoping he will have an answer. Frustrating, but not the worst thing that could happen. Have a great day. I will post if I figure this out.

I just went back and tried it again and it worked! Thank you so much.

I don't know what I did wrong the first time, but it was very easy the second time.

Have a great day.
