Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
After the last IOS update my phone do no longer charge with the Apple MagSafe. It starts up for a about 30 seconds then no longer charging.
Its extremely irritating when these very expensive peripherals dot work and becomes do it yourself kits. Pulling out cables and moving back in time again!
is there any known solution to this?

Problem is resolved but I do not know what the problem was. MagSafe is a wireless charger and the problem was with the phone (iPhone 12). Problem occurred after the latest update. After restart the phone acted normal again and charged as normal.
Have you considered a wireless charger?
This would prevent you from having to purchase two items.
I shut my phone down, turned back on, and it works. Probably the latest update.
