I want to update my phone to iOS 16

Apple has yet to release the Public Beta for iOS 16. For now, you can Sign Up for the Apple Beta Software Program at beta.apple.com. Once it’s available, you can install the Public Beta profile from there!

iOS 16 is only out in beta. "Beta" means the software isn't done and still has bugs and issues. Unless you have more than one phone and have a need to test software on the new version of iOS, it is strongly recommended that you NOT install the beta on your phone. Installing the beta on the phone you depend on for daily communication can be a recipe for disaster.

There will be a public beta in July, so you could update to that then. However, the beta versions are not always stable and probably shouldn't be installed on your day-to-day phone.

Until Apple announces the date, no one here would know.

If you want to Get the Developer Beta, Please make sure, that if you want to support Apple Developers. but you will have to wait soon for the Public Beta of iOS 16. iOS 16 Full Release will be released soon this fall. Check later in System Settings > General > Software Updates > Download and Install when available
