Apple music billing

I have a student account for apple music so my billing should only be $4.99 but apple has been taking out $5.36 for months which is more than that. I transferred the exact $4.99 to my account to renew my subscription and it won’t accept it unless I add more money.

Based on the numbers that you provided, I suspect that there is a 7.5% sales tax in your area. $4.99 + 7.5% tax = $5.36.
