Mail loading slowly

My email is loading incredibly slow. I am on the latest ios (15.5) version. I have already tried deleting the my email account and Mail application, rebooting and reinstalling Mail application, email account, etc. I have played around with the preview setting without success. Any other suggestions?

Mail preview is displaying mail header, etc i have IPad Air 3rd gen, - since the most recent update (13.1.3), my mail preview screen is not consistently displaying headers and 2 lines of the mail. Instead, there are empty areas in the listing, and when I select the empty area, the mail content becomes visible, and most times, the mail header and 2 lines then become visible in the preview, but not always. I sometimes have to rpeatmepselecting and closing several times before it becomes visible permanently in the preview. i have closed mail, powered off my device completely, and in settings, have re-selected my prior settings for preview and mail, and the problem appears corrected, but then issue starts again.

Mail closing quickly after opening on iPad Air How I eventually fixed - settings - email app - switch off image auto load - go back to email - open email with images- click at the top load hidden images - close email- settings- email app - switch on auto load - close settings - new email should work as normal i tried all suggestions on thread with no luck - but this fixed it for me

Mail is slow and sluggish since updating to iOS 17.4.1 I updated iOS last night on my iPhone to 17.4.1. And now the Mail app just doesn’t work. I try to open an email and it just sits there saying it’s loading forever. After waiting more than a minute, I’ve just given up. Anyone else having this problem? Any fixes?

There are some suggestions here, including making sure you have enough storage, looking at your battery health, and checking your network conditions: About iOS or iPadOS performance on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
