My Apple Watch is now showing a green square on the face of my watch. I did what was mentioned in the comments above/below pushing the crown button twice. How can I get the green box of?

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. It sounds like you enabled the customization of your watch face. Since the buttons are not turning that off, let's try restarting it: Restart your Apple Watch - Apple Support
If that does not work, continue to steps to force restart.
