When you plug in your iPhone to power then you will see the battery charge percentage under the Battery icon (Locked Screen). If you want to check the battery percentage while the iPhone is charging, then you can unlock the iPhone and get to the Home Screen. SWIPE DOWN from the Top Right corner of the screen. This will reveal the control center and will display the battery charge percentage.
