How do I enable my iPad?
Thanks for that.
Let me begin with this. This is my sister's iPad and she gave it to me to try to fix it.
I did as you have directed, but I get the screen with a connect to iTunes rather the symbol of a computer and I don't have iTunes. My computer is using Monterey.
Furthermore, it doesn't appear in my Finder under "Locations" either.
Thanks Niel
problem solved. I was given the option to update or restore.
I chose to update but that didn’t work so I had to restore.
in the end, the iPad is functional. My sister will have to start from the beginning but at least she will be able to use it.
Thanks again.
Click here and follow the instructions. Restoring the iPad requires plugging it into a computer with iTunes installed, or a Mac running Catalina or newer.
