I purchased an Apple Watch Series 6 outside the USA. Since moving back to the USA and choosing a new phone and cellular service provider, I am unable to use my cellular service on the Apple Watch. Must I purchase a new Apple Watch in the USA in order for the cellular service to work with my new provider plan?
Most likely if it isn't working here. The radios in the watches are specific to the region where it was bought.

My answer remains the same. The watches are built for the specific region where they are sold and sometimes do not have a radio that will work for a carrier in another region.
I spoke with an Apple representative earlier, as well as with the carrier in the store. Nobody could give me an answer, even though I see that my watch no longer is associated with the former carrier. I neglected to mention that I did not purchase the Apple Watch through the carrier outside the USA. I purchased it outright, brand new, nothing to do with any carrier.
