When I use Find My to alert my Ipad - a screen alert comes up and I get an email alert, but no sound alert plays on the IPad. I have checked the sound settings and everything seems to be ok. When I move the Ringer and Alert slider i can hear the sound. Can anyone help?
Set Allow Notifications to OFF - then close the Settings App.
Next, force-restart your iPad:
After the forced-restart, reset your Notification settings.

Thanks for the screen shot - my notification settings are the same as this and sadly still no Find My alert sound
Check your Find My Notification settings:
Settings > Notifications > Find My
