So ive got the IPad Pro 10.5” and got the keyboard at the same time, suddenly though when I close the keyboard case its not looking my iPad, I haven’t dropped either parts as I’m very careful so really not sure what the issue is

Have you tried restarting the iPad using the steps here: Restart your iPad ? If so, let's disconnect the keyboard and reconnect to the iPad.
Lastly, let's make sure the iPad is using the latest software available by completing the steps listed here: Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

When I close the Smart Keyboard case, it's not locking my iPad.
