I have to always sign in to watch Apple TV app on my tv even though I have it set to never ask for password. The problem is only on my tv and not my other devices. What is the solution?

The “Never ask for password” is about making new purchases and subscribing to new services. You still need to be signed in to use services that are linked to your account. If all is working well, then you should stay signed in, until you sign out or change account settings.
