Beats Solo Pro wireless headphones static sound

Hi i see several similar questions here about the issue I'm having with my wireless over ear beats solo pro headphones with noise cancellation. About hearing static in the left side when using noise cancellation only.

There's a somewhat generic answer that pops up saying it could be due to other interference from other Bluetooth devices nearby.

But that doesn't seem like the issue. Firstly, ever since i purchased these new, I've had these near and around multiple various activated and non-activated Bluetooth devices with out issue ever. They've always performed flawlessly.

Now however for the first time over the last 3 days I've been experiencing the static issue only while noise cancellation is activated. Also, I'm not even around any other Bluetooth devices atm.

I've also reset the headphones as instructed with the issue still appearing. The headphones are adult owned kept indoors and well taken care of with no drops or falls or stepping or sitting on by accident.

On all the same questions here. No one has ever actually followed up or updated to say whether or not they either found the issue and or if how they were able to restore it to pre static condition...

If anyone can shed any further (more specific) light on the subject other than the stock answer of it may be other Bluetooth devices nearby, try moving around to see if it comes and goes.

Perhaps if this is an actual internal build issue or flaw with this particular model, what causes it and if there is an easy at home tutorial to fix it or is it an outside service issue.

I have reset the headphones and just updated it to the latest firmware and that didn't help the problem.

But I'm really not crazy about using these with the noise cancellation feature deactivated...

The high quality noise cancellation is one of the main reasons I purchased these Solo Pros with the newer Apple© chip.

Thanks for any further info!

Hello Bnekeo,

Yes that's pretty much exactly my semi-solution. Just use them now without the noise cancellation feature.

You mentioned that you originally had them repaired before they started the issue again, by Apple©?

Were they actually repaired or were they replaced? If repaired, did they return them with a description of the cause and fix?

Yes aside from this one problem, they still function well and sound well...No static at all with the NC off.

These are my 2nd pair I've invested in and frankly, it's too costly and time consuming to send them off for repair.

Not to mention that the manufacturer of the Beats Pro's and Solo Pro lines have abruptly permanently discontinued them from their current headphone lineup without any explanation or reasoning.

That in itself is disappointing let alone the unresolved static issue that many of these Solo Pros are exhibiting.

Thank you for your reply!
