Organize photos from recents into albums on laptop

I don't like that the recents folder doesn't permanently "move" the photo into the album I create. On Android I could organize my photos from the Camera Roll by permanently moving them into a specified album I created (VIA MY LAPTOP for easier viewing). I could see all the folders I created and then organize photos from the comfortable view of my laptop screen. When I tether my iphone 11 promax to my windows laptop, the DCIM folder sorts them by month and year only. There is no option for me to sort photos by viewing each album and moving photos from one folder to another **via my laptop view***. It's too time consuming to do this process on the iphone screen. How do I know which ones I moved where? How do I view old photos that I no longer need?

It's simply not practical to sort on the iphone itself. ***I need to be able to view the album (folders) I created when I hook it to my laptop (not see date folders that contain the pictures).*** See image example below for Android:

It's very much possible. Yes, I saw your images, but you will not be able to rename DCIM folders. Ideally, you wouldn't use the folders to copy over your images either. If you sync to your computer you have the option to sync albums or the entire library. Sync photos in iTunes on PC with devices - Apple Support. You can also enable iCloud and sync to all devices with your albums in tact. Set up and use iCloud Photos on your Windows PC - Apple Support

Your photos app on the iPhone will create as many albums as you would like, but it will not affect the folder structure of where images are stored.
