Intermittent problem with "Message Failed to Send" - Texting to someone, delivered OK, then suddenly "Message Failed to Send". Some times I call the person and they say yes it was delivered, but often: "No I didn't get that one but did receive the ones you sent after the missing message. This NOT just happening on my AT&T carrier iPhone, also on my iPad, and most recently on my 27" iMac desktop.

If this is an SMS message, make sure you have Text Message Forwarding switched on in Settings > Messages. You can read more about that here: How to forward SMS/MMS text messages from your iPhone to your iPad, iPod touch or Mac.
