I just updated to Monterey 12.4, and in Mail the classic shortcut I used (command ctrl <) to switch between windows/messages (same used to navigate bertween windows within the same app in any other app) is doing a different thing: chages the quote level within a message and I cannot find the way to reset it.
Any help?

The standard shortcut to change windows in the same application is Command-`
If you can change the shortcut that Mail uses for the quote levethen you may be able to restore your custom shortcut to work as you are used to.
Make a note of the exact text of that menu item. In System Preferences->Keyboard->Shortcuts add a new shortcut for Mail. Type the text of the menu and choose a different shortcut.

Thanks for the tip. I had to change the shortcut command-' to command-< in general preferences to solve the issue, as the preferences did not allow me to change the shortcut settiongs in Mail.
Nevertheless, it works now.
However, something went wrong with Monterey 12.4 and shortcuts in Mail vs. general preferences.
