Hey londyn133,
We'd be happy to help. Slow performance could occur for a wide variety of reasons, so without more information it's difficult to say what's causing this for you.
Are you noticing that things are slow to load that require internet or are there offline aspects of your iPhone that are slow to respond, such as navigating your Home Screen, scrolling thru menus, etc?
The first thing to do is check your network connection. If on cellular, test over Wi-Fi and vice versa. If the issues persist across multiple networks, or this behavior is occurring even while not using the internet, make sure you have enough storage by going to Settings > General > iPhone Storage and look for opportunities to create more space.
If the storage looks good, close any apps not responding using these steps: Close an app on your iPhone or iPod touch - Apple Support
Next, make sure that Low Power Mode is disabled, as this can impact the performance of your iPhone, especially if you're not using it properly and when under 20% battery life.
Also, lets check your battery health. Go to Settings > Battery > Battery Health. If your max capacity is at 80% or less, you'll want to replace your battery. If it's still in good health, also check to see if it's providing peak performance. For more info, check out: iPhone Battery and Performance - Apple Support
All this information and more is available here: About iOS or iPadOS performance on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
We hope this helps out.
Take care!
