Cost-efficient suggestions for connecting Thunderbolt 2, USB, etc., devices to new iMac 24"?

I have multiple devices (external HDs) for backup, etc., and just purchased new iMac 24".


Apple products for adapting Thunderbolt 2 to Thunderbolt 3, as well as for connecting HDMI to T-Bolt 3, are pretty pricey.


Any suggestions for more reasonable 3rd-party alternatives or, ideally, multiport adapters with at least two Thunderbolt 2 ports plus HDMI, USB and possibly others?

Check MacSales.com (OWC) for their docks for the new M1 Macs, like their OWC Thunderbolt Dock. They have a variety of different docs.


You can contact OWC Customer support and see what they recommend for meeting your requirements and budget.


I recommend getting a self powered dock so as not to put any undue load on the port it's plugged into.


OWC is considered the premier 3rd party hardware provider for Macs.
