lightning hub?

Just out of curiosity, does there exist an (affordable) lightning hub?As in, with one lightning plug and multiple lightning sockets? If my iPhone is connected to external power, I can't connect anything else to it. Like wired headphones.

LOL, you really think that is a "simple" dongle? In all MFi certified Lightning adapters there are at least 4 chipsets as well as other circuitry. In this case there is dual circuitry that provides audio on one side and charging on the other. Since this has all that, is MFi certified, and is a niche device that will do what you want I would say it is very affordable. You can look for cheaper knockoffs but if they are not MFi certified and are using stolen codes but each time Apple updates those codes you will need to buy a new one.

Well, I have a cheap USB-to-lightning cable, and I use it to charge my phone. It is NOT a smart, nor expensive cable. So I have no reason to believe I can't power my phone with the dongle I pointed you at. The issue is whether I can expand the USB end of that cable to TWO USB ports, and use the other port for audio. It sounds like I'm just going to have to get myself a cheap USB-to-3.5mm audio adapter and try it out.
