I took the screen protector off my Watch SE and the screen lifted

Hi, just took the screen protector off my watch and the screen was lifted. I read a few things about the 3 and 4 warranties but haven’t found anything specific to the SE. Anyone else have this issue and if so, any support options? We didn’t get apple care - were both pretty easy on our stuff and wasn’t expecting a random issue like this.
