SD Card Slot not working

Well, my SD card slot is not working either as I see some others have posted after upgrading to Monterey. I'm running 12.4 currently and it doesn't see the card when inserted. Is there a fix for this yet?

Monterey not detecting SD card via external card reader on my 2020 M1 MacBook Pro My card reader worked perfectly fine on all previous OS and is still working on my friend's older MacBook Air. Read on another site to reboot and try again. That seems to have fixed the problem...
