I am locked out of my phone, because when I migrated my old phone to my new phone, it picked up my old Apple ID which I don’t have the password for. I have tried to change the password, but Apple have my new Apple ID.

If you forgot the Apple ID (iCloud) password, enter the Apple (iCloud) ID, and click Forgot Password. See if you can get a Rescue or Notification email option if necessary. Link to contact Apple Support at the end of the 2nd article.
