Help! I accidentally hit my MacBook air screen with my tv remote (fire stick remote for size reference). My computer is turning on and off, and has a digital crack in it (assuming that's not the right word).
Anyone know how I can fix this without it costing a fortune?

If you had purchased AppleCare+ when you got your MAcBook Air and it is still valid for your MacBook Air, the cost would be $99 USD. If you did not purchase AppleCare+ you will need to pay the full amount of repair which is highly dependent on your location.
Not really. You can find some cheap fly-by-night outfit but that's never a good idea and there are no real guarantees at all the work will be "Apple-class".
You need to bite the bullet and take it to Apple for repair. Actually a replacement; it won't be repaired.
