Apple Music opens unexpectedly after opening Safari browser while I am viewing a page. How can I stop this?

Is Safari opening Apple Music on the web? If so, check your General preferences by following Change General preferences in Safari on Mac. See what you have Safari set to open with, and what your Homepage is set up as.

Also, ensure you completely close Safari by going to Safari on the Menu bar > Quit Safari. Once closed, hold down the Shift key as you open it back up to see if this helps. Doing this opens Safari fresh instead of in a saved state.
