I track my husbands phone and he except the invitation . but I’m not able to track his phone. does he need to do something on his settings?

Where on his phone settings dose he change it where I can he can change it too (using)?? He accepted my invitation twice does he have to go on his phone to settings to change it? Plus I am in Switzerland until the end of July does that make a difference?
