I use same music and clips alignment for multiple Libraries.
I do copy project to different library without Media every time. Some times I want the same music which I have used years ago. Those were difficult to get it. I have to rework whole project again.
If I could create a Project as template with blank clips. It would be really helpful.

You can create a project with placeholder. There is a Placeholder generator inFCP that can be customized. You can of course also use any still images or graphics. Once you have the project, simply duplicate it and use the replace function to put in the shots you want.

Another option is to create a master Library that has all of the music, titles, clips, and project(s) that you normally use. Once you have that you can duplicate it, rename it, and import the new media for each new video.
You can delete them if you no longer need those clips. Once you have the master library set the way you want it try duplicating it in the Finder not FCP. That should should resolve the issue you are having with blank media.
Thank you. Larrie I do this to Master Library. ITs keep on adding blank media (Even though I move without Media). NOw it has thousands of Blank (Red - Missing Files) clips. I can simply delete them. Right?
