How do I upgrade a MacBook Air from 2014? Right now I have OS X Yosemite.

MacBook Air models from 2014 are compatible with macOS Big Sur. Before installing any update, make sure to back up your Mac, and be aware that macOS Big Sur requires up to 44.5GB of available storage to install.


Once you've backed up and ensured you have enough storage, you can use this link to download macOS Big Sur from the App Store: macOS Big Sur.
