how to delete ios iPhone mail documents and data even after deleting all accounts

I’ve deleted all the accounts, deleted the app, restarted and it’s still showing 37gb of storage taken up. I’ve also deleted the app and reinstalled, restarting in between to try and free the storage. No change.

Welcome ChristopherJLee,

Did you Offload or delete the app? You mentioned deleting it, but we wanted to confirm this because as stated in the screenshot offloading the app won't remove the data, but removing/deleting the app would delete data.

Confirm this shows up in Settings > General > iPhone storage: How to check the storage on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support

If the issue continues to occur, then we'd recommend contacting Apple Support

Wishing you well, cheers.

Deleted the app. Tried offloading as well, no change. It would be painful to start a new profile as I’m not sure it would download all my apps again and other little tweaks I’ve made to phone behavior but 38gb is a lot. I’m surprised there isn’t a simple solution.
