The hotspot feature supports both WPA2 and WPA3 on an iPhone 11. Here is some troubleshooting guidance→If Personal Hotspot is not working on your iPhone or iPad (Wi-Fi + Cellular) - Apple Support. And iPhone 12 or later defaults to WPA3, but you can allow WPA2 by turning on Maximize Compatibility. This is not needed for an iPhone 11.

Are you having a problem doing this? If so, what is the problem?
It is a Trimble GeoHX Geoexplorer Pro 2008. I can set it to work up to WPA2 PSK AES, but not WPA3. I can't get it to connect. If I have the settings wrong, I am open to being corrected
