Please, please make this possible. I use my work phone for both work and home (which is allowed) and would love to have messages available in both devices: personal and work. Currently it doesn't seem like this is possible, which is a very frustrating situation.

Currently as you have found, a phone number can be associated with only one Apple ID. It sounds as if you have two Apple IDs - a work Apple ID and a private Apple ID?
