How do I access my phone which is on Security Lock without having to lose my data?

Security lockout can happen if you entered the incorrect passcode has been entered too many times and the only way to get past that is by removing the passcode through restoring the phone using a computer or choosing the Erase iPhone option at the Security Lockout screen.

If you don't have a backup, this could cause data loss

I found a solution,

i made my friend call me and the call came through, as a unknown number. After cutting the call I could enter my password (which I remember now) and the phone opened. I was relieved as I don’t have a backup. Hope this helps
